Cell Phone Bank

In order to provide emergency communications to citizens of Canastota and the surrounding communities in Madison County, Madison County Office for the Aging, Inc has partnered with the 911 Cell Phone Bank to distribute donated 911 cell phones that have been tested, boxed complete with charger and extra battery all at no cost to the participant. Any at risk individual (any age) can request a 911 cell phone. These cell phones are cleared of all information and will only dial 911.

In addition, the Office for the Aging collects used cell phones to be recycled by the 911 Cell Phone Bank.
